Movie B (ag) wrote: A fun zombie comedy.

Samantha L (ag) wrote: Ridiculously cheesy. It was hysterical. Aaron Carter is a horrible actor who should stay away from the both acting and the music industry. What surprised me was that Alana Austin was just as bad. She was in Motorcrossed. It was a Disney original movie from 2001. She was pretty good in that. But in this she is horrible. I would understand if this movie was made before Motorcrossed and she was bad but then became good. But Motorcrossed came out before Popstar. So she went from good to absolutely horrible in a matter of 4 years.Overall it was bad. Cheesy music, acting, storyline.

Matthew H (ca) wrote: This movie is great if you know anything about science and society. Well acted and well told.

Michael H (mx) wrote: One of my favourite films of all time. Not at all like I expected.

Al H (ca) wrote: A comedy serial funny.

Martin T (mx) wrote: Very bleak, with tragedy looming around every corner, but with enough small triumphs to keep it from becoming unbearably depressing. Hvenegaard does quite well in the title role, but one cannot overlook Von Sydow as his well-meaning but somewhat ineffectual father... it's one of his best performances. August does some wonderful work directing his own screenplay. The austere aura of the farm evokes a feeling of quiet desperation, while the wide snowy vistas harbor the hope for a better world.

Jenna I (ca) wrote: This movie is flawed but it's such a great idea, with a great soundtrack and a fun lead that you can't help but fall for it anyhow. At least I couldn't- I super enjoyed this movie, it really was a Kafkaesque trip through a brilliant jazz soundtrack and some really unforgettable cinematography. What a great little film.

Berni E (ru) wrote: Very good, innocent humour - can't believe its a re-make of a French film - will have to rent that now too!

Kevin N (ru) wrote: This was a deliberate follow-up vehicle to Hitchcock's successful 'The Lady Vanishes', and while it may not have quite the technical brilliance of that film it is every bit as entertaining- if not more so. It utilizes some of the same actors- the beautiful Margaret Lockwood and the humorous duo of Naunton Wayne and Basil Radford- but also incorporates some new (and very welcome) talent. The first gift is Rex Harrison, an extraordinary screen presence with the charm and confidence of a secret agent but the modesty of any old chap. His evil Nazi counterpart here is played by Paul Henreid, an actor talented enough to play his part with both malice and humility. Carol Reed, one of Britain's great filmmakers, doesn't here seem to have the aggressive creativity behind the camera that he showed in later films, but there is a great elegance to this film's simple storytelling.

Karl J (us) wrote: Awful. Like twilight for werewolves. At least twilight had a storyline and some half decent actors. I can't believe they hooped jason into doing this
