The found footage style of filming can be a mixed bag, but this one breathes new life into my interest in this particular style of filming.

It's amazing how the iconic confident and free cowboy has to become cautious and planned. It's nerve-racking watching them cross. There is a great scene with Carroll O' Conner being a truck driver. And, then, it settles in with a story of Jack Burns trying to get thrown jail so that he can talk to his buddy who is in jail for the buddy's wife, Jerry. The road to incarceration is paved with a great, one armed bully picking a fight with him. It is obvious that Jack and Jerry have history, but it really bothers me how kissy they are. After Jack breaks out of jail and gives the wife a message from her husband, I fell asleep for 30 minutes. It then began another story about Jack hiding in the CA hills trying to escape the police (Walter Matthau).

Yeah, its filled with some cliches, a hell lot of boring Christian talks and mostly bland dialogues outside the pitch, but every time the sports is shown onscreen, this film scores big time. I did not feel like I would like this at all while watching its first half, but the rugby scenes are so good and extremely efficiently directed that it even inspired a skeptic like me.
