What I meant was Jackie Chan teaming up with an American star. Though all those films are almost same, like running and chasing and stunts with the comedic sense. Yep, totally boring, nothing new it it, except different locations and the cast. The Russians addition was new, but in the end it became a joke. That's funny to say, because it is a comedy film.If you are familiar with Jackie Chan's Hollywood films, then you already know the 90 per cent of this film and for the rest, you have to watch it. A cop from Hong Kong seeking a revenge for his partner's death, so now he has to find and rescue the American con man who stuck with the Russias gangster for the evidence he needed to put the criminal gang boss behind the bar. The adventurous journey they take across the Mongolia is what the film is based on.This film is specially made for the yuan market, so don't bother if you don't carry yuan in your wallet. Maybe Renny Harlin's worst film I've ever seen. Jackie Chan is the only reason to watch it, but surely you have seen better films of his than this. Johnny Knoxville was just okay and the rest of the cast does not look good. Rewatching 'Shanghai Noon' and 'Rush Hours' films is better than this, so I'm not in favour of it.4/10

The story is about Andie, a poor girl that lives in a bit of a broken family and is constantly being judged for being lower class. I thought this was a pretty good chick flick to be honest. Molly Ringwald does a good job in this movie, Jon Cryer is good at playing the nerdy doof Duckie, Blaine was a pretty likable interesting character but he was a bit clich (C). The one character I loved in the movie was Andie's dad. He seemed like a really nice guy and he really shows that he loves his daughter. The story seems really depressing at times which was kinda weird. I didn't really expect it to be as down as it was though. The whole movie seems kinda like a love disaster until the final act of the film. Whether or not you like watching love's ups and downs will affect if you like this movie because this movie is basically that. The last 20 minutes in this movie though is great. Everything got tied together and the ending was kinda cheesy but it was a great way to end a movie. Overall Pretty In Pink wasn't my favorite Hughes movie but the characters had undeniably good chemistry, the story was a bit clich (C) but fun, and it had a great ending. B-

Austin V (ag) wrote: The narrative is a bit weak, but the film is memorable for its ridiculously awesome weapons - the Flying Guillotine and Iron Umbrella.

Little B (fr) wrote: A spiritual and historical path through various chapters which tells the life of the homonymous icon painter, naive and pure of heart, which through various vicissitudes will lose his faith in the church first and then in the entire humanity. From here, a new journey will take him to regain confidence in men during the last epic chapter which is also a beautiful fresco of human labor's potentiality. Do not miss.
