Dyron W (kr) wrote: Believe it or not, I loved this as a 16 year old. Ten years later, I view this nothing more as an exercise in buffoonery. But there was a scene involving a blind, horny John Witherspoon and potato that still makes me laugh.
Cathleen K (ca) wrote: more psychological suspense than horror. tsuakamoto really got at that gritty feeling without the industrial settings he usually uses (i'm impressed), but he needs to know somersaults are not scary. overall, great story about identity and class.

Jenna I (kr) wrote: What really makes this film perfect is the length. It's a short, sweet, well packaged, viscous little movie. Strongly stylistic-from the colors to the accents-and just surreal enough to keep me really interested in a story I normally wouldn't have given a shit about. It is a love story, as my friend Vern pointed out, but its also just brilliantly written character work... you know who everybody is within the first minute of meeting them on screen and that right there takes some writing and acting talent.

La transformation (pas en zombie, le changement de caractere) du personnage principal est interessante, mais le film est un peu trop explicatif et moral que pour etre vraiment captivant. Cela dit, il ne fait que 65 min.
Sophie B (br) wrote: A decent premise, but it seems far too long for what it is, with not much actually happening. There's too many twists and reveals that end up confusing an audience, rather than making them beg for more.
