ken k (fr) wrote: Alright, let's all get together as movie lovers and find out if there really is a Fred Saxon that does movie reviews for Fox TV. If there is he should be fired or at the very least moved to the Mail room at Fox. He gave this horrible, Sophomoric movie a great review, but then again according to the box the movie came in so did Ebert and Roeper. Shame on you guys. I guess Payola is back and healthy again. I paid $4.99 for this bomb at Wal-mart and after fast forwarding through half of it I figure I paid about $4.97 too much. I will give them the 2 cents for the price of the box. Unbelievably BAD. If you do want to waste 100 minutes of your life, do yourselves a favor and fast forward to the last chapter and you will be able to guess everything that transpired in the 90 minutes prior. What a waste of old beat up cars and blank rounds this was. Ken K.

Mike H (nl) wrote: Synopsis-In this action-packed romance, Mei Chung (Hyun-joo Kim) leaves Korea for Hong Kong after a love affair ends badly. She arrives in the new country ready to become a language teacher and to begin a new life. When Bond Cheung (Vanness Wu), one of her students, decides to fulfill his dream of fighting against world champion freestyle fighter Tank (Andy On), Mei finds herself drawn into an exciting and dangerous world, and a new romance. Great, uniquely filmed action scenes and touching romance. This film is also about the three characters'(the student, his master, the language teacher) personal struggles with past relationships and how they're affecting their current lives/relationships.

Augustine H (ca) wrote: Bette Davis abolishes the latter hideous image of "Baby Jane" in my mind by portraying Judith Traherne, a wealthy, optimistic woman who confronts incurable cancer in her late months. Davis is pitiful but exhilarating enough here. The scene she becomes blind saddens my mind deeply! Another notable fact that Humphrey Bogart and Ronald Reagan are having cameo appearances makes it more worthwhile to watch.
