Not exactly filled with suspense and jump scares, R-Point still weaves a pretty interesting story even if the scares aren't delivered and it looks pretty good too!
Lester Y (ag) wrote: a documentary about independent movie-making, the filmmaking process in general, and yeah, about the pursuit of the american dream, taking place in the heart of america--these loosely populated pockets of suburbs the rest of the country forgot. the movie's hilarious, honest, and even genuinely inspiring in its own roundabout, special way despite a tone of hopeless futility
Marty F (nl) wrote: This aint a B movie, this is a D movie!!! Even given the fact that it is meant to be trash and pop art and B style and what not, this is total crap, so boring, oldskool, but bad at the same time, bad editing, bad actors, trash story, crappy cinematography. I heard da name Tetsu maybe 400 times in the entire thing and the other names confuzzled me so much that I have a headache now, unbelievable.

Brian B (de) wrote: Okay, well first off let me start by saying this, Never Die Alone was freaking awesome! I rarely give movies a perfect five out of five but this movie gets it! Critics oh critics, if you'd only put down your Crystal Meth for a moment you'd realize true brilliance when it stares you in your worthless face. Anyway, where do I even start? Well, stellar performance by DMX! Anyone who can play a role and play it so well that you actually start to hate the character that's being portrayed has nailed that part down to its fullest! For example, Jack Nicholson in The Shining, Laurence Fishburne as Ike Turner in What's Love Got To Do With It, and Danny Glover as Mister in The Color Purple. Feel me? That type of brilliance! I mean DMX really makes you feel the hurt that he's inflicting on others! The epitome of a mothers worst nightmare! I won't say too much more about that, don't want to spoil it for you.Second, the plot! Steamy, vengeful, sexy, greedy, money, and suspenseful! Oh, and I almost forgot, the ending! This movie's got a crazy unforeseeable ending with a twist that's going to mess you the helicopter up! Yeah I meant to say that. Anyway, that's all I'm going to divulge about the specifics, fasten up your seat belts, and let's get ready for the ride! LET'S GO!
Aiden M (de) wrote: I'm going to keep this short I'm not exactly sure why this film didn't really do good in the box office it's really well made and the effects are awesome. If you're looking for something as intricate as Lord of the Rings this isn't it. It's a standalone film so of course it has to be told a little bit more rapidly than normal. The acting is awesome the effects are pretty good. and it's not bad I would say it's above a standard popcorn flick. if you're into magic and monsters and witches this is the film for you.
