Miyuki doesn't need to stalk the man she's crazy about, because he lives one floor down. He's Yoshinori, a not very successful long-haired musician. Miyuki, a coffee-shop waitress, nods when they pass on the stairs, but hasn't yet dared to strike up a conversation. Instead she slips out every night and helps herself to his trash.

Mark R (au) wrote: One of the best movies I've seen in a while, throughout the movie you start to care for the main characters the acting was just that good. It was a mixture of comedy action, and honestly the ending was just too sad. But it gets a solid 5 stars from me

Brendan N (fr) wrote: When the film was first announced I couldn't explain my enthusiasm. Once I seen the trailer I started to have doubts considering the lack of story this just seemed to be another dull Australian comedy. Stephen curry is a talented actor but even himself couldn't save this film from its tiresome self. The direction is all over the place as the film has more dramatic overtones and then is dragged into the mud by some dull humour which honestly do not suit the film. A straight comedy film would of been a better direction but this film lacks anything to recommend it. A strong Aussie cast is wasted by some really dull humour. I would have liked to see a cricket film based at the cricket club as opposed to this. The tone is all over the place and it was hard to gain any sympathy for the characters. Give this film a miss

Bill v (fr) wrote: The documentary covers what some Christians believe about the end of days. The filmmakers for the most part focus on the evangelical fundamentalist community and their doctrines/opinions around the 2nd advent of Christ and its relationship to the state of Israel. It jumps off the rails a bit as there is an attempt to establish links between the groups highlighted and US politics in the 1980s and into the 90s. This has been done a million times and it appears cliche here. The documentary does capture the smugness of some of the people and their "we know how it's going to happen and why" attitude. But is also skips over the historical roots of belief in the rapture and other Christian teachings on the topic of the last days (namely views held by mainline Christian denominations). Also missing is a deeper examination of how these beliefs appeal to people living in Israel today.A worthwhile documentary to see but keep in mind this is what only one segment of Christians believe about the events surrounding the 2nd coming of Christ and what the Bible teaches on the subject.

Jhon E (ag) wrote: Demonlover, now I must admit I was not really paying attention that much in this film. I am what you might call a ?passive? watcher. I did not really listen to what was going on much, I just watched, but I was very tired. The film follows a company trying to buy some 3-D Manga pornography for their adult content businesses. Also at the very beginning the main character, the beautiful Connie Nielson poisons a colleague, so she takes her job while she is in hospital. Now to be honest, that is all I know, I have described about twenty minutes of this two-hour film. The film then emerges into massive neo-noir espionage, thriller, drama, romance and other assorted categories. This film does not ground here ok, but I was not sure what was going on, even the Wikipedia page is not completely clear. When they find-out that a website that shows genuine torture, the plot thickens, but too thick for me to understand. The ending, I had no idea what was going on, I was going along for the ride. The film was originally X-rated, but had cut a few scenes and blurred some nudity, in a scene were real cartoon pornography is visible. The film is now an R-rated film. I must admit the thing that kept me going was the beautiful Connie Nielson; she does an excellent act as well. The film seems to have an overall good acting, although the film has French language, it jumps from English to Japanese. As some of you might know I always have subtitles on my TV, during English TV as well, so do not miss anything. When this film jumps al l-over the place the subtitle can be muddled-up, so they slowed me down a bit. Overall, this is a very weird film that I struggled to keep-up with, although I was not paying all my attention. From what I can tell, it is a good film and I enjoyed what I saw, although the sadistic and masochistic parts were not my cup of tea. The film has already reached a cult status. I must admit it is not the greatest film, but Connie Nielson got it over the line. I would not really recommend the film, mainly because it is all about pornography. Although it is not that bad when it comes to sex, there is only one real life sex scene, and it is not explicit. I would like to know what you guys thought of the film though. Therefore, if you could please I would like it if you watched the film, so I know what you thought about it. Some people we love it, and some people will hate it.

Barry B (au) wrote: I've actually watched this multiple times and was never bored.. It's a deeply contemplative story about the effects of infidelity on two surviving spouses who had no idea they were the victims of cheating. It's a rather interesting subject done well with two excellent actors who give very believable performances

Stephanie W (nl) wrote: James Cromwell is amazing in this. It's got a sort of southern gothic feel to it. Craig Morrison is adamantly defending his right to do what he wishes with the land that has belonged to him for decades. He's not quite willing to part with his dignity as he enters the final stages of his life, much to the chagrin of the powers that be.
