Simon P (ru) wrote: DIY punk rock horror starring, produced, directed and written by the Soska sisters. Energetic, depraved and ridiculous - as you'd expect from the rather delightful Twisted Twins.

Keith M (ru) wrote: Well handled subject matter, sensitively written and performed.

Ryan H (ru) wrote: It almost feels like Eastwood didn't have to do anything for this movie since the assembled cast is so phenomenal. Everyone is in peak form for this movie. It's dark, it's gritty, it's powerful. Still my favorite Eastwood direct film to this day.

Wiebke K (gb) wrote: Revenge-driven story with some interesting twists -- Irons and Whitaker definitely make this worth watching.

Mike R (kr) wrote: The concept is executed fantastically for about the first hour. Then go ahead and turn it off.

Chris C (gb) wrote: Hilarious, bad and inept Tarantino rip-off, with Mickey Rourke as a cop looking a mix between stoned and drunk, stalking after ex-con Leet who accidently murdered his wife. Leet gets involved with whacko Bojesse and his girlfriend and their problems, leading to murder, and wacky tragedy. Leet and Bojesse contribute horrible performances. Leet tries to pretend to be Clint Eastwood, While Bojesse acts annoying like Mathew Lillard annoying and Uncle Phil shows up for one scene to chew out Rourke. The movie is oddly compelling and hilarious at the same time, as a poor rip-off of Tarantino's style late in the game.

Jon C (de) wrote: for 2000: very pointless not an actual sequel the songs are pet peevish, the animation sucks at times, the characters are shallow and the title doesn't take full effect til the last half is this movie about the rainforest or rescuing the stinkin' baby animals? if you're gonna make a sequel YOU BETTER DO IT!

Marilee A (au) wrote: Interesting & funny at times, but it mostly "Drags", I do love unique people & their right to be just that

Noname (it) wrote: The 80's had many good movies but this movie i have totally missed and it seemed to be a classic so i finally watched it. Directed by S.Spielberg and a very young C. Bale in the main role along with John Malkovich. Bale did a superb role even for being only 13 at that time. Story take place in WW2 and a young boy must survive pretty much on his own.. It's a drama flick mainly and not quite like Spielbergs usually movies. The story and acting are on top but sometimes i felt it a bit slow actually and long. Perhaps i had wanted more of Spielbergs typical work. But its a good movie and i can understand why its rated as a classic. Take a closer look like i did , a worth seeing flick.

Karsh D (br) wrote: Some great Kung Fu action which more than makes up for the usual poor script and acting - but then if Chan put more effort into the last two it just wouldn't be right!

Sam M (au) wrote: I don't believe this was fitting for an actor such as Dustin Hoffman, but that's the least important weakness here. My problem with this film was the confusing plot and several actors looking alike, not to mention the increasing amount of violence over its course. Skip this if you're into watching more Hoffman.
