It shows Mr. Moore as the hard worker and very talented speaker that he is, in a way that we haven't seen since the wonderful Awful Truth series. Unfortunately, it's just not enough to carry a film this long, and especially knowing how that election turned out, the whole thing leaves a bitter taste. If you're a Moore fan you might want to add this to your collection, but even I had a hard time watching the whole thing so keep your expectations low.

A small town is terrorised by some strange animal and as usual a small group of teenagers decide they are going to save the day and kill the beast. Well the special effects are done mainly as puppetry, with the odd guy in the suit moment and are not too bad. As for the acting... let's just say that it drags the film down and before long you don't care about the characters. Don't worry that changes before the end... you wish they'd get Chupacrabra-ed.

I am a big Kubrick fan and I like all of his films but to me this is the best. This is a movie that will make you laugh and also make you cry. This is a powerful story and it's done in Kubrick fashion. Ryan Oneal was the perfect fit for the role of Barry Lyndon and I couldn't see it any other way. Another unforgettable performance was that of Leon Vitaly as lord Bullingdon..
(it) wrote: Excellent B horror film of the 70's. One of the best Hammer films ever made, played tongue in cheek expertly by Lee, Cushing, and the rest. Great job by the Mad Monk and great train set pieces, this movie chugs along at brisk speed, and has a very original premise. Highly recommended.
(ca) wrote: The writer of this would be distaster needs to rethink everything put into this flim because not even alchole can make this film amazing, but there is still something there that makes it just slightly interesting. Maybe it's the cast, the music, or some combination, but it's hard to tell in all the predicatability and cliche lines.
(es) wrote: Acting really bad, one of the worst B Grade movies I have ever seen I'm sure the whole movie was filmed using a green screen nothing good about the special effects, apart to laugh at not worth 1hr 30 of your time, you can't get back that

(fr) wrote: I think the people who claim this movie is trying too hard to imitate other gangster Hollywood movies need to get over themselves! If you have nothing else CONCRETE to critique about the film, my view is you already had prejudice views while watching it, and you can't see another race tell their story without always placing them at the bottom. You can't get use to minorities on the screen yet I mean that's you sadly. Eh I would say maybe its not your fault, you can't do better right, no worries you still have time fix that! :D But Not worthy opinions at all. I feel the movie was more bloodshed to the point where you feel sorry for the main characters who died, but it doesn't hurt you know? Who they were and the bonds they shared with eachother was not presented enough, it was rushed and too cut short (needed half hour more in the beginning) But informative and sends a message of a tragic time in the 80s I didn't know about. Good movie, the fighting and action was amazing and definitely hard to watch, the acting was top!!! but wish the bonds between Tina, Sunny and Stephen were shown more, and also thought some of the dialogue could lose some corny lines.
