Grant S (nl) wrote: Has its moments but mostly formulaic and dull. The (true) story of how a US sports agent goes to India to find baseball pitchers, stages a competition to unearth them, takes the two winners' back to the US and tries to get them contracts with MLB teams. From the start the movie feels trite and overly sugary. Yes, the setting is fairly original but it just feels like we've been down this road before. Maybe it because it is told in a made-for-TV/kids sort of way.The movie is not without its upsides though. There are some funny moments and the John Hamm-Lake Bell relationship was interesting. For all its portrayal of a reasonably important event in baseball history, the movie just feels very flat.

Mayank A (ca) wrote: Typical T&A Comedy Movie. The supporting cast were enjoyable with there antics. The movie could have been better.

Morwat B (kr) wrote: Unbelievable boring! Worst movie I've seen in years!

Griffin H (kr) wrote: Predictable but likeable, and by being likeable the movie still isn't good.

KIm A (gb) wrote: I liked the show when I was a kid.

Jason S (us) wrote: It's movies like this that Quentin Tarantino watches to get his ideas from. Top notch exploitation from the Shaw Brothers. A woman is raped and contracts an std. She is PISSED. So she learns how to smash/ stab/ rip balls off men from a crippled martial artist/nightclub owner and of course, extracts bloody revenge.

Daniel D (it) wrote: A Psycho-analysist begins receiving the same symptoms as a paranoid patient that he "cures", from then on out the movie becomes an intangible mess. For an hour Brain Dead is a never ending cycle of bizzare dreams, with nothing comprehensive coming out of it. Bill Pullman keeps the film alive as the story line attempts to fry your brain, which stops working when the loop becomes repetitive. There are a few creepy images that sticked in my mind a few days after I watched the movie, so there's certainly a few haunting scenes, but as a whole it's like watching a broken record.

John C (fr) wrote: A "modern" Elvis movie. Elvis looks surprisingly natural and at ease in this movie that is quintessential 1968 rather than the celluloid movies he was in the past few years that were detached from what was really going on in the world. Elvis's acting is at ease and on target and the movie is fun to watch.

Scott S (ca) wrote: Not the greatest movie, but you get to see Demi naked, so its got that going for it.
