Orlando O (es) wrote: Keeping Up with the Joneses is that action comedy film that has talented fun actors like Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher, and Gal Gadot but falls short in being funny. Basically, following Jeff (Zach Galifianakis) and his wife Karen (Isla Fisher) who is a predictable couple, living in a nice quiet suburban house. They get new neighbors Tim (Jon Hamm) and Natalie (Gal Gadot), who are that perfect couple that's done a lot of traveling and they seem perfect in everyway. Except for one cache, they are spies, who are trying to investigate in a leak with government information that is in Jeff's work company. Next thing you know, there is a team of bad guys chasing Jeff as Tim and Natalie are trying to protect them. All while, trying to recover the stolen files. The film does have a few laughs with stupid humor. It is one of those movies were you will only laugh once and view and forget about it. There was no real sense of a plot besides a redundant idea that's been used in other comedy movies. About a secret file involving weapons and they need the clumsy characters to try to claim it back. It is amusing to see the talented cast in the movie. The script and direction is so boring and predictable. This comedy film will be forgotten within a month. Overall, Keeping Up with the Joneses is a bad comedy film, with some forgettable laughs, decent casts, and boring plot and direction

Larry W (fr) wrote: If you are expecting a continuation of the plot teaser you got at the end of thr first movie then never watch this movie because they throw it out in the first 5 minutes and spend the rest of the movie on anti-war propaganda. No steampunk to be found in this movie. Good acting saves this from from being a complete disaster

Alex B (de) wrote: A film about the good old days!? When I first heard about it, I thought it could be either social realist or metaphysical (rubbish), or at least allegorical. I suppose it's both (and also an aesthetic, film-making exercise). Compare with The Grapes of Wrath?

Jason C (ru) wrote: Infinitely more watchable than Devil's Chair but that ain't really saying much. You see the swerve coming before the lead character which is never a good sign and even then the dumb bitch didn't get it and had to have it explained to her sorry vampire hunting ass lol. Tries to be almost Usual Suspects like at the end but fails miserably but it hassa nifty lil cast in Sid Haig and Victoria Pratt's cleavage.

Aman A (us) wrote: A movie for the ages, it is a masterpiece is great family cinema. The humour is funny and not slapstick, the concept can be endearing to all ages and the implementation is sombre. Acting is outstanding. Peter Sellers take a bow. Don't miss this movie people.

Sean S (gb) wrote: For an early Steven Spielberg flick it's hard not to expect a lot. But there's none of the innocence or sentimental sci-fi-esque storytelling here; forget balls rolling down the tunnels of caverns Indiana Jones style, The Sugarland Express details a mother, Lou Jean Poplin, who breaks her imprisoned husband Clovis out to drive across the state of Texas to reach their son to save him from being adopted by foster parents. In the meantime, they hold the many police cars following them at bay, take a patrolman (Maxwell Slide) hostage to drive the car, and become local celebrities, with residents at their stops showering them with gifts. A little heartbreaking without focusing too much on despair or a caring parenting angle, The Sugarland Express is legitimate pre-Jaws Spielberg drama with a strong cast (despite not consisting of big names besides Hawn) and script that works.
