Tuck Bushman (Chris Lumb) is an out of luck and out of work TV presenter / creature hunter. When strange things start to happen in the remote Yorkshire village of Piddledown Dale, the mayor Eli Nefarious (Rob Girdler), offers a reward to the person who can capture the culprit. Tuck jumps at the chance to claim the prize and heads off, with snobby director Jerry Stains (Matthew Jackson) in tow, to make a programme of his triumph and get his career back on track. Little does Tuck know that there is more brewing in the village than tea and some old wounds and old flames will surface from his past, not to mention his ex-girlfriend Felicity Scruples (Natalie Smeaton). Mad doctors, monster hunters, camping, booby traps, car chases and even a giant sheep make this a trip to Piddledown Dale you won't forget!

Armando B (de) wrote: For me this movie was weird, and let's get this straight this is not a vampire movie, like people are saying. I was expecting more like the " Mothman Prophecies ", but it was more like " The Craft ". School girls who are being haunted by a ghost, it was not a good movie, as that being said I give " The Moth Diaries " a D-.

Zach M (au) wrote: This was a decent sci-fi version of Seven Samurai. It had an alright cast with Robert Vaughn, George Peppard, a young Sybil Danning, Richard Thomas and John Saxon. The special effects are pretty impressive for a low budget, Roger Corman produced movie. I will always enjoy costumes, make-up and models over green screens and computer effects.

Despite Donald Sinden's characterful and slightly obnoxious Englishman with conviction, the story lacks some clout, although the 'adventure' were subjected to almost makes up for this.
