Blake D (fr) wrote: Another crappy Disney sports movie. Completely cliche with a terrible plot. The movie has some of the worst acting of all time.

Eugene N (fr) wrote: Understand the diretcor is trying to get into deeper layers but the result is so confusing / boring / unrealistic!!! Not even a good actor like Ching Wan can make the movie into a good one!!! This + "Murderer" making me more hesitating about "HK movie"!!!

Kyle W (ca) wrote: This film changed horror. It's thrilling, it's true art, it's simple and brilliant. In my opinion, it's better to view it as a stand alone tale as the rest of the franchise truly disappoints. Still one of my all-time favourite films.

Ernest C (ru) wrote: Bright but with bite, this jazzy, energetic adaptation of the Broadway musical is visually entertaining while maintaining the sordid sensual sensationalism.

William C (fr) wrote: I read the novel (which was Paddy Chayefsky's version of Jekyll and Hyde) when it first came out in '79 and knew it would be a fun ride of a movie if done right. And it was--combining the intellectualism of finding the true self with some effects that, for their time, were unreal (and still copied in other media), this movie is also a near-Wagnerian opera on the primal versus the spiritual. This is actually one of the few movies I'd love to see remade today with the technology now available--providing the script stayed true to the original (and a decent cast could be found).

Alexei G (mx) wrote: This movie isn't particularly good, but it's not bad either. The acting is decent, the special effects don't seem too artificial, but the film at times seems somewhat unengaging at times.

Philip R (de) wrote: I'm a fan of action crime thrillers and I thought this movie was one of the best I??ve ever seen. Released in 2009 and Directed by Nimrd Antal (Predators, Vacancy), ARMORED is about a young armed service veteran name Ty Hackett (Columbus Short), who works for an armored transport security firm, is coerced by his mentor Mike Cochrane (Matt Dillon) and their fellow coworkers: Baines (Laurence Fishburne), Quinn (Jean Reno), Palmer (Amaury Nolasco), and Dobbs (Skeet Ulrich) to steal a transfer of $42 million dollars from the Federal Reserve. But when an unexpected witness interferes, Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Jake Eckehart (Milo Ventimiglia), their supposedly foolproof plan leads them all to a potentially deadly resolution. This movie kept me on the edge of my seat when it came time to see the whole purpose of the film. What a great cast of actors, who I thought were all great in their performances, starring Matt Dillon (Drugstore Cowboy), Jean Reno (The Professional), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix trilogy), Amaury Nolasco (Max Payne), Fred Ward (Tremors), Milo Ventimiglia (Rocky Balboa), Skeet Ulrich (Scream), and Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard). Fishburne had some funny moments in the film, but I thought Short did a terrific job as the main character Ty. And I kid you not; it made me feel like I was in his shoes, watching him trying to make it out alive. Sadly in advanced, the film was never screened to critics. However, it got mixed reviews and got 43% rating from Rotten Tomatoes. I still think ARMORED is one of those movies I would definitely recommend for all movie lovers to see and enjoy.

Jamie C (de) wrote: After so many bad reviews I went in to this not expecting much but yet again I found myself enjoying it, A pretty good story but the plot is same old stuff, The effects were ok but the ending was very lackluster, Not greatly acted and a few plot holes don't help things but its run time is short and it's an easy watch but nothing memorable.
