Rian C (de) wrote: This movie is so sad and so beautiful. I loved it. American cinema hasn't written a noir like this since Chinatown. Yimou Zhang is a master story-teller.
Bloodmarsh K (jp) wrote: Eric Roberts has made an entire career out of going full retard - watching this guy is pure torture, in just about every case, and in 'Runaway Train,' he goes beyond his usual act. He's intolerable on every level.

Top notch cast and spaghetti western score add value here. I just knew we were headed for a one-on-one martial arts showdown between Carradine and Norris but I didn't expect it to feature Carradine wearing an argyle sweater.
