Lindsay Eliabeth M (jp) wrote: "Is this like that island show?...I don't vote you off, you don't vote me off?" Lame lame LAME. I hated everything about it; from the cheesy traps, the lam acting, and the apparent Saw ripoffs. Even though it lasted for less than an hour and a half, I had to skip to the ending after watching a half hour - that was how irritated I was. There is a popular TV show titled "Are You Scared?", whose producers go around and ask people, mostly teenagers, what their deepest, darkest fears are. They are then subjected into a situation where they have to face their fears. At the start of the film we see a blonde teenager with a metal collar around her neck which emits electric jolts and needles with jab straight into her neck whenever she doesn't move fast enough. She is forced to walk down a path full of broken glass (needle pit in Saw 2, anyone?) to turn a switch off, and is directed into an aquarium where the key to her handcuffs is located. She plunges her entire head in the tank, which immediately is stained with her blood. The tank isn't filled with water, but with hydrochloric acid, and it consumes her entire face and body. And like Saw, there are two detectives on the lookout for the man who kills teenagers in "gruesome" ways. We see the perpetrator as a man in a business suit with a horribly scarred face seated infront of a desk full of computers and monitors. The scene then switches to six teenagers as they wake up in an abandoned building stocked with cameras. And so the lameass game begins. Nothing redeemed this film in my eyes, and the deaths and traps were laughable. Even the big twist in the end was boring. Don't waste money and time on this, please. >_> Am I scared? No, I'm pissed off, actually.
Alec B (ru) wrote: Yeah, it's screenplay is mercifully simple but the entire plot of this movie was already covered in about 10 minutes of murky flashbacks in the first "Underworld".
