Zandra Y (es) wrote: i am extremely disappointed with this movie. watched it coz it's by an award-winning director. there was no point to the show, characters weren't well developed, and too much was left to the audience's imagination. a good example is that of the famous thai actor ananda. i dont even know why he existed in the show. most of the time you'll be guessing what the actors are thinking and there's too much room for maybes. the title was also not appropriate AT ALL as i dont see the director bringing out the "factory" comparison. prob some techniques used were good. certain shots are nicely done. other than that, it's just a show that tries to look arty. sad.

James O (kr) wrote: Demonic Toys is one of Full Moon's classic features, along with Puppet Master, Dollman, and Castle Freak. Because, of this, I expected a little more out of it. it IS entertaining, but not terribly. There could have been some more times on the actual demonic toys instead of the demon, but it's still good. The acting is standard Full Moon, and the edning was just poor. Demonic Toys is one of those movies where I wouldn't mind if it was remade.

Aj V (es) wrote: A fantastic drama with good actors, and it's based on a true story. I love Raul Julia in this movie.

Aj V (us) wrote: Although there were many really funny scenes, there were also a bunch of unfunny scenes too, and sometimes the film didn't look like it was edited right or something. Overall, it's pretty good, but it could have been better. At least it has a good cast.

The Critic (es) wrote: The bastard child of James Bond films; not a part of the franchise but more embraced by audiences than other unofficial exercises with the return Sean Connery in the lead role. It's an interesting depiction of Bond, who comes out of retirement to once again serve the Crown. Connery is more than comfortable in the role and Kim Basinger is lovely as his much younger leading lady. Overall, the film is standard franchise fare and runs too long, but is enjoyable enough popcorn entertainment.
