(us) wrote: yes watching people being rich and doing drugs with girls is cool but not movie worthy these days. Retards who just happen to be the smartest retards.

(es) wrote: I can say with certainty that this is almost nothing like its book counterpart. Aside from having the same premise, and the majority of the same characters, there are many differences and a lot are directly related to the main story. Coraline is outstandingly vivid, and one of the best-animated films I've ever seen. Every character is given so much to do, which makes the film's creativity more believable.

(mx) wrote: Entertaining and fun, Conspiracy Theory is an exciting political thriller from director Richard Donner. Mel Gibson stars as a New York taxi driver and conspiracy theorist who seeks the help of a DOJ lawyer (played by Julia Roberts) after escaping from a CIA black ops team. The film does a good job at using the conspiracy motif; working in several popular conspiracies (such as black helicopters and RFID chips), and playing with a number of conspiracy tropes. However, this also makes things a little confusing and overly complicated at times. But, Donner's able to mitigate some of this by keeping the tone lighthearted with bits of comedy and satire. Additionally, the score is especially well-done and brings a nice energy to the film. Though it has some problems, Conspiracy Theory holds up and is an enjoyable film that's full of suspense and intrigue.

(jp) wrote: The movie has many problems and holes in the script, I find the character played by Claude Earl Jones one of the lowest points. It does not give a good sequel to the great original movie and the end is somewhat confusing. But... Who cares? We have Jeffrey Comb, We have Bruce Abbott back and it is re-animator, let`s just enjoy it, please?

(nl) wrote: This classic starring Rita Hayworth is about as nasty as 40's film noir gets. She's phenomenal and the characters are all so cruel to one another. Love it! There's some pretty interesting subtext going on: post WWII with women in the workplace lead to battle of the sexes, feminism, paranoia of infidelity and even two gay male leads. All of which make this one incredibly rich film with plenty of plot twists and a femme fatale that has never been bettered.

(ru) wrote: A true masterwork of modern cinema laced with exceptional acting and a story which makes for a nearly perfect period piece. One of the best films of the 21st Century by far.
(au) wrote: Good acting delivered by the two leads: Vincent Piazza & Patricia Arquette. But kinda boring, formulaic story on the other hand.
