Vanya on 42nd Street

An uninterrupted rehersal of Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" played out by a company of actors. The setting is their run down theater with an unusable stage and crumbling ceiling. The play is shown act by act with the briefest of breaks to move props or for refreshments. The lack of costumes, real props and scenery is soon forgotten.

New York actors rehearse Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" in a dilapidated theatre. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

brendan n (br) wrote: underrated and much better then van damme's usual array of kick and kill. great action and style with a director with an eye for action. van damme deserved a cinema release on this one because it was much better then some of the previous films that had big releases.

The movie still has great banter between the crew but the overall storyline isn't very intriguing and kind of boring. Some of the dialogue is so laughably bad as well as the movie has boring and dull action sequences. It leaves a lot to be desired. Although the movie does have a fantastic sound track and has my favorite Star Trek theme to date (Next Generation Theme).Overall 2.5/5

Tony P (it) wrote: Roger Moore makes his debut as suave secret agent James Bond 007 and suave he is in reality! He also brings an element of light hearted humour to the role compared to past actor Sean Connery. In this adventure Moore fights heroin drug barons in the Caribbean. Along the way the audience is introduced to peripheral characters of interest M and Moneypenny who finds Bond in a compromising situation with an Italian conquest! American sequences in New York feature.A young Jane Seymour is the major love interest. The films title song is one if not the series best. Paul McCartney and Wings. The soundtrack composed by George Martin. An excellent debut from Sir Roger in the first of his seven. Yes seven efforts.

Jacob B (au) wrote: A film that succeeds at making fun of two popular horror movies one of them being a satire itself, Scary Movie manages to be one of the more entertaining parody movies as well as being famous for leading its young teenage cast most notably Anna Faris in the role of Cindy Campbell even if its crude sex jokes end up occasionally grossing out certain viewers.
