Roy S (fr) wrote: I probably enjoy these sorts of documentaries more than most, but this is a good one about the National Film Registry. Just seeing the clips of these dozens of great films on the big screen was a treat. The initial choices of the committee were easy; Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, that sort of thing. Now they are picking a few odd films, like home movies and experimental stuff. The politics of those choices could have been more thoroughly examined, but this is primarily a big sloppy kiss to American cinema.

Ida K (ag) wrote: Hilary Duff played the self-absorbed, overly dramatic teenager very well. She was so annoying and disrespectful ! If I was her grandmother, I would have popped her in the mouth by the second day. I really liked her boyfriend. Ex-con or not, he was way classier and more responsible than she was. Boot camp would have done this spoiled brat some good!

Robin F (au) wrote: pretty graphic to say the least but very good though had me hooked

Anthony W (ag) wrote: Though fairly thinly scripted, Dinner For Schmucks benefits from good chemistry between Rudd and Carrell and strong commentary on seeing the worth of the less popular, but unique individuals in this world.

Cassandra M (us) wrote: Simply put one of the best movies I have ever seen. The cast is amazing and deliver in their performances, the stunning visuals and beautiful music combine to create a dreamy atmosphere through which S. Potter uses Orlando as a medium to make subtle and elegant commentaries about life, the human condition and the struggle of the sexes to understand each other when they are basically two aspects of the same coin. As opposed to some of the other reviewers here I did not find the movie slow or boring at any time. Nor is it just about Orlando; there are multiple layers. It flows simply and quietly but with great intensity and an underlying irony at every moment. This film must be Potter's masterpiece.

Eric J (br) wrote: I know it's cheesy as all hell, but i like it! Full of corny one-liners.

Indira S (ag) wrote: so far i havent found a Jack lemmon's movie that's not worth to watch :D

Jen H (es) wrote: This was a fantastic movie and I'm saddened to hear that there isn't a sequil made or planned?! This is frustrating and I'm left wanting more after the first film..... :(

Jason K (mx) wrote: Still prob one of the best and truest to life ensemble films of the early 2000's about dating and top 5 on the Jolie movie scale (also top five on the "I've dated her" scale).
