Surenthar T (gb) wrote: Worst movie of 2012, just drags on with boring yes or no plot line. Really no sense of direction. If they had made just last 30 mins the whole movie it would have been much better!

John S (nl) wrote: More of a comedy about the average Syfy movie's special effects and acting quality rather than an action/horror/thriller, or whatever its supposed to be. Why an actor like John Barrowman would ever agree to this is beyond me.

Kylie M (de) wrote: Sometimes you watch a movie and think, "What?" Not because it wasn't clear, or that you didn't understand, but because you just don't 'get' why such a movie was made. Admittedly, however, the whole murder-spree movie is not my cup of tea.
Chad D (ag) wrote: This is an older movie that I had never heard, or at least I didn't remember, until it popped up on dish on night. It stars Ben Affleck as a gung-ho marketing executive that has little time for children. He finds out just how much his life has to change when his wife dies giving birth to their daughter. The movie follows the whole situation as father and daughter learn to adjust to life with each other as they age. This includes some interesting scenes involving the opposite sex and dating for both of them. Some parts are extremely funny and some parts are extremely heart felt and sad. The movie is actually pretty simple. There are even movies that are similar. There isn't anything high tech or earth shattering. But, the movie delivers its point rather well. This is a movie about real life and many people have experienced similar things in their lives. It is a movie that many can probably relate to, albeit they wouldn't want to go through it. I would say this movie is worth a look for sure. At the very least I don't think you will walk away thinking you wasted a couple hours.

Ramon A (fr) wrote: Film noir meets neorealism and social critique. The main characters face important moral choices in a rotten environment. Very interesting editing and beautiful cinematography, especially the scene in which they return to the site of the accident almost at the end. Winning the critics Award at Cannes helped director J.A. Bardem to get out of prison, where he was serving for political reasons.
