Gordon H (fr) wrote: Hillarious and inventive! Ben Stiller has never been better!A 2006 fantasy-comedy adventure film, 'Night at the Museum' tells the story of a divorced father (Ben Stiller) trying to settle down, impress his son, and find his destiny. He applies for a job as a night watchman at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC, where he discovers that the exhibits, animated by a magical Egyptian artifact, come to life at night! One of my favorite comedies of all time, this film is hillarious and inventive! Ben Stiller has never been better than he is in the role of Larry Daley, the American Museum of Natural History's new night watchman. Featuring some laugh-out-loud performances by Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Bill Cobbs, Carla Gugino, and Robin Williams, this movie is a riot! Highly recommended!
Ian B (it) wrote: A bizarre and rather uncomfortable film to watch, but impressive none-the-less. Although made by the creators of the modern horror classic May (this time Lucky McKee acts and Angela Bettis directs), the two films share a drastically different tone. While May was about a woman's descent into madness, Roman is about a man's struggle to escape it. Shot on home video and boasting some impressive, natural performances, the film holds your attention while making you constantly squirm in your seat. This definitely isn't a film for everyone, but it's also a film you won't soon forget.

Cold war politics, South American containment, super-fascism, guerrilla war, the CIA, Sammy Davis Jr, and a young actor clash in this comedy of dictatorial proportions.

Private U (ag) wrote: An inspiring, moving and human story. An amazing story that inspires and motivates everyone to make the best out of what has been given to them. It's centered around an extraordinary young man that faces the hardest challenge of all. The actor that plays the kid, is brilliant throughout the movie! All the other cast members were also on a top performance. It's a movie that will stick with you no matter what. It has avoided the "everything-ok-happy-ending" keeping a perfect mix of bitter and sweet throughout the movie. It's an amazing effort and one of these movies that you truly find yourself fortunate to have watched.
