Mayank A (ru) wrote: The movie feels cheesy and substandard with a predictable ending as compared to other heist movie. Felt it was an OK watch, but the ending five minutes had more than a few unexpected twist, totally changing my view of the story.
Jaime P (kr) wrote: I had originally written this off as just another "Christian" film full of cliches and cheesy moments. Instead I got an actual movie that did not sugar coat life and what rock bottom really looks like. I was truly moved by it.
Alexis N (es) wrote: I started watching as a joke to punish my boyfriend for vetoing the movie I wanted to watch. But we both ended up loving it. Maybe our expectations where so low it made the movie better, I don't know. But it was funny, aw-worthy and cute. Tom Green went legitimate when no one was looking.

Tino P (au) wrote: The dialogue, which is read with either insufficient or excessive emphasis by the non-actors, is often buried under a soundtrack of vintage blues, making it doubly hard to follow. Even the slaughter of the sheep is numbingly uneventful.
Tom R (de) wrote: A very ridiculously fun movie in which so many cars get destroyed and stolen in humorous ways. There were a few grating things like obviously sped up film and normal characters who happen to be expert drivers, but that only added to the carefree, cheesy, feel-good 70's vibe of the film. The plot about over a dozen people (each of whom all steal a car) is so mundane, that you can't help and not smile... it's too weird to take seriously, making it a perfect drive-in movie. Ron Howard is a good director but he's so likable in the movie that I wish he still acted. It's a movie that any age can watch and still find something funny.

Andy S (jp) wrote: Not so much a movie that people acted in as one that they managed to survive. poor raquel welsh, poor mae west... it's either horribly inept or amazingly ahead of its time in its campiness.
Stephanie F (es) wrote: The only reason why this movie is still remembered is that it introduced the Fred and Ginger to the world (thank you!) Otherwise it is very boring and Dolores Del Rio's character is boring, rude, a poor dresser, and a hussy. Bottom line: fast-forward any scenes without Fred.
