(ag) wrote: One of the reviews I read said this might be a good movie to watch on mushroom. That is about the only thing that might help this train wreck of a film. At least that's what I was going to say. The last 20 minutes saved it. Kind of. This thing was about an hour to long.

(kr) wrote: Not bad, but not a classic.
(ru) wrote: Maybe not for everyone's tastes, yet quite enjoyable, especially if you are into early Jim Jarmusch flicks. Similar type of long scenes, hardly any action or dialogues, yet everything falls nicely together towards the end. The film is definitely a nice change of pace, even from some of the movies in the so-called independent genre.

(us) wrote: It's a bromance comedy that doesn't always work but Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd do more than enough to make up for any flaws the film has.
(it) wrote: The film has its flaws, but 10 years later, it retains the distinction of having both the most compelling storytelling and the most technically proficient filmmaking to come out of Chile in recent times. It remains frustrating that neither its author nor its stars (with the possible exception of Martelli, but barely so) ended up moving onto greater things, though.

(gb) wrote: Watch it if you love Jolie. I love old school Jolie. Such spunk. This movie is a bit slow, but there are some funny moments. Put it on while you clean house or something.
(de) wrote: This was a surprisingly fun movie about the spirit of an evil ninja that inhabits a woman and tries to kill the cop that killed him.Lots of cheesy moments and that's what helps make it fun.For only a ninja can kill another ninja and ninja is Sh Kosugi. It may be called Ninja III but it isn't a sequel which itself is pretty awesome.
(es) wrote: Here's a mean-spirited little movie. Nobody, with the possible exception of the young kidnapping victim and the young autistic boy who can't speak, is even slightly sympathetic in this film. Besides our trio of kidnappers, there's the father of the victim who won't pay her ransom because she's worth more dead to him than alive, the mother who's too drunk to be bothered that her daughter has been gone for days, and the parents who mistreat their autistic son because he's cramping their lifestyle. One of the kidnappers becomes the de facto hero because he resists letting the crime slide into rape and murder. Not exactly a pleasant film, but extremely well-made for such a low budget effort. I note that Arthur Marks has some connection to this film. While it's not as good as "Bucktown" or "Detroit 9000", fans of his work should really enjoy this.
(ru) wrote: I remember watching this film about 10 years ago and really enjoying it. I remember it being a fairly serious WWII movie with a hint of the boys-own adventure of films such as 'Force 10 From Navarone' and 'Where Eagles Dare'. Hudson is charismatic and the pace doesn't slow down much at all.
