(gb) wrote: This bizarre exploitation movie is supposedly a cult classic (what isn't called "cult" these days?), it's even compared to the great Mario Bava's thriller "Rabid Dogs". It's definitely not that good, but I have to say that the story is interesting, with a lot of twists. I'm sure that Tarantino got some ideas for his "Kill Bill vol.2" and "Reservoir Dogs" from this movie. What kills "The Candy Snatchers" are the actors: they are really bad. Watch "Rabid Dogs" instead - while not perfect, it's far better than this oddity.
