What Became of Us
Have you ever wondered how your old schoolmates are? Perhaps the guy next to you, who is doing time in jail at the moment, still thinks you are his best and only friend. Perhaps your first crush might've been interested in you all these years but was too afraid to tell you that. Perhaps, if it were not too late already, the bullied one would've done everything differently.

(de) wrote: this looked like it was going to be an amazing epic but I felt like it ended just when the story was starting to get good. I really liked it though. My grandfather came to American through Ellis Island when he was sixteen around the time of this movie takes place so i thought watching the details of what it was like was amazing.

(kr) wrote: This movie was really good but definitely not for everyone. I mean it was meant to be a harsh look at new jersey hood life. These kids just did everything against the law and seeing that story with at least some realism to it was enjoyable. The main character who was a repeat car their offender did a really good job acting.

(kr) wrote: Trash. But I like it. Has a lot of themes that were used in Robocop. A man who is murdered, reborn as a machine and tries to find his identity (sticking it to those who killed him). The Vindicator is so bad, its good...
(ag) wrote: 'Spaghetti' Jaws. There's a bit of fun with some ridiculously bad dialogue, but despite John Huston, Henry Fonda, and a pre-Lobo Claude Akins as the sheriff, this is just plain bad.
(br) wrote: It's definitely Russ Meyer's darkest film in terms of tone and character, but it still suffers from being a Russ Meyer film, which isnt' necessarily a bad thing, but doesn't feel right for this movie.
(it) wrote: This movie is EXCELENT!
(kr) wrote: Fantastic Kaye movie. Classic song numbers, and of course patriotic to the hilt, in support of WW II
(ru) wrote: James Cagney is fabulous as a newly recruited agent in this homage to the FBI. What could have been a strictly formulaic crime movie is elevated by a really good script and wonderful performances from a well chosen cast.
(mx) wrote: An extraordinarily sublime and hilarious and serious film! This is Hal Ashby at his absolute peak as a director! Everything about this film is perfectly pitched. I've seen this film well-more than two-dozen times and it never fails to move me. (And that scene with Shirley MacLaine on the bear-skin rug is gut-bustingly hilarious!) Peter Sellers, in my opinion, truly deserved to get that best actor Oscar.... (Such a shame....) One of my top-25 all-time favorites. :D
(es) wrote: A drama that isn't Eastwood's best, but still a thrill to watch because Morgan Freeman
(kr) wrote: It was disappointing boxing movie i have seen. The story wasn't that entertaining when two boxers best and then fight each other? Also got boring along the way and gave credit with fight scenes.
(gb) wrote: Not as good as silence of the lambs but still compelling.
