Ching T (ru) wrote: Tragic, and therefore shocking, more from lack of character development and back story revelation where appropriate. Cinematography captured the bleak blue grey brown tones of misery, but too many unnecessary languishing shots with a boring single camera perspective that did very little to further plot development. We never gained insight into emotions of our main character who unfortunately remained the same one dimensional cliche along with the rest of the supporting cast and extras. The little boy child actor, though, delivered a very convincing performance that'll break your heart.

He not only achieved fame in the bruising world of Thai kickboxing, but did so while harbouring the desire to undergo a sex change. Its definetly a worth watching film. It might not hit everybodies heart but for sure you cant say this is a bad movie. Very Stylish and with some strong and deep moments

Salvador D (ru) wrote: The late John Candy did PLENTY of heavy lifting in this high concept film comedy that went hard-on-the-heels of much more acclaimed soap comedy film Soapdish. He's a lonely, good-natured writer for a soap who somehow find himself stuck in the show he writes for, proceeding to control the actions of his surroundings. He's enamoured with a spoiled actress(Emma Samms) who ignores him, all while oblivious to the shy charms of an ingnue actress just starting on the show(Mariel Hemingway). If you can find it in your video store or on-line, and miss the late comedic actor's friendly, energetic presence, you might want to check this out.
