(fr) wrote: Critics seemed to enjoy this a lot, but to me it just felt dull and eventless for the most part. Maybe I don't get it, but aside from a few gripping moments I just felt like I was waiting for something to happen until the credits rolled.

(ru) wrote: A disney film that'll never get recognition or be noticed as one of the classics. Home on the range is when disney released lesser successful animated films. This film is more for children as it has more slapstick humour and a more simpler plot. However it was quite enjoyable and what you saw is what you got which was nice for once. Great voice casting and hearing randy quaid yodel was a highlight. Not the nest disney film but it wasn't bad neither.
(ru) wrote: Americans are scared of this movie, hahahahah! Naked people makes them frightened....To the point,Even though I ain't nudist, I don't see anything wrong about it as many Finnish would think. One of a kind animation, french-African animation (correct me if I'm wrong). Only annoying thing was that no one believed Kirikou and when problem was solved, everyone danced and praised Kirikou. Otherwise magnifique cinma.

(ca) wrote: What happens when you combine the fantastical imagination of The Wizard of Oz with the zany comedy stylings of Beetlejuice and National Lampoons all set in a scifi setting? Well, you might end up with Mom and Dad Save the World. While the film is filled with total bumblings (it's filled with dumb humour... literally), it does show promise. There are aspects of the film that are very Monty Pythonesque and the cast is phenomenal. Eric Idle, Kathy Ireland, Jon Lovitz, Jeffrey Jones, Teri Garr and Wallace Shawn are all big names and great character actors. It's too bad that the film wasn't better. If you have kids, they'll likely love this film. It has a mentality and intelligence that is right on their level.
(ru) wrote: Its shortness is solidly made up for with enough detail, smarts, and chills to give Alfred Hitchcock the right jump into the thriller genre.
(au) wrote: A sweet romance. Though there are heavy themes the movie still feels light as the director hasn't dwelled on any point for too long and hence doesn't get boring. Good editing too.
(it) wrote: It's a shame that it's narrative is lazy and forgettable, because Monsters vs. Aliens certainly boosts a talented cast, great animation and an enjoyable sense of humor.
