William S (ru) wrote: Caught this film at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. It was one of those films that make going to festivals so much fun. An unexpected treat, the film's understated style feels authentic. Catch it if you can.

David L (kr) wrote: Laura Smiles tells the story of a housewife living the perfect family life, until she eventually breaks down and loses her mind. Very good drama, the story is carried in a very original way which keeps your atention the whole time, going back and forth in time, showing the different situations that have happened to her (which are also the very sad causes leading to her breakdown). It just gets stronger as the movie goes forward. I read somewhere that it was described as 'a raw, bleak Desperate Housewives without the humor or satire', which sounds as an accurate description.

Laura N (au) wrote: A perfect Valentine's Day slasher film. They actually did a pretty good job of keeping me guessing as to who the killer actually was. And I didn't mind the sub-par acting because I got to look at David Boreanaz and watch Denise Richards get killed.

Trent M (br) wrote: Innocent housewife Loretta Young is framed in a letter by her dick of an unstable husband for his own (imagined) imminent death in this short suburban suspense movie. Her attempts to get back the letter seem to make her appear guilty instead. She'd have been better off sending the young tricycle-riding, cookie-mooching, cowboy-wannabe 'Hoppy' after the offending mail. But fear not, for after all of this mild terror involving everyday life, there is a happy ending.

Jim A (ru) wrote: With many holiday specials of big screen animated franchises coming out this one is close to the bottom with for the most part lazy jokes and little effort. Like the good majority from blue sky animation it assumes kids have low standards so there is little reason to put in much effort thus its as predictable as they come

Brinn O (jp) wrote: Jingle all the way used to be one of my ALL time favorite films of all time. I didn't only watch it on Christmas but I watched it at least twice a week for a year. Back then I was obsessed with this movie. It was funny seeing Arnold literally stop at nothing to get Jamie his Turboman doll. Watching it now I may notice plot of the plot holes, but for what it is it's still an entertaining Christmas flick.
