Surajit Kumar M (gb) wrote: This movie is a tribute to the Mumbai Police. A perfect sequel to Sigham. The story is predictable though but still it grips you. People scream to the trademark dialog of AJ. CID-fame Daya has a vital role which he was doing since 15 years and no one could do better than him. And yes he has to break a door when Bajirao Singham says "Daya...Darwaza tod do" :) Kareena Kapoor looked fabulous but over acted. There are two songs and the one just before interval was not needed in the movie. Amol Gupte as "baba" was good but not better than "Jaikant Shikre". A typical Rohit Shetty movie with lots of mind boggling action. The best action scene was when AJ hit with a car when a rocket launcher was fired at him. Rohit's hatred against vehicles was yet again shown in the movie as lots n lots of vehicles were vandalized or destroyed. Over all a nice time pass movie with some strong message. Paisa Wasul.

Bradley H (kr) wrote: One of the very best movies that few people know about. It's lighthearted and charming, with a little whimsy thrown in for good measure. The entire cast is a delight, particularly Loren Dean as the small town therapist who is just as much an odd ball as his clients.
Eric H (br) wrote: Enjoyed this Classic Comedy with outstanding veteran actors who must have had fun making this film way back in the 1940's.Jill Baker (Oberon) is married to a successful businessman, Larry Baker (Douglas), but after six years, the bloom is off the rose. She goes to a psychiatrist, where, in the waiting room, she meets an opinionated pianist, Alexander Sebastian (Meredith), who introduces her to the world of art and music. She becomes fascinated with the world of culture and with him. Before you know it, Oberon and Douglas are divorcing, and Oberon and Meredith become engaged.A few great memorable lines, what could be heavy melodrama turned into a very light romantic comedy Lubitsch style, and probably worth your time if you run across it, but nothing to deliberately seek out. it's beautifully shot and the design is fabulous. This is the New York City we'd all love to live in. And Oberon looks ravishing. Her performance is convincingly comic, too, though she is so match for Eve Arden in an all too small role.

Tristan M (ca) wrote: Great movie about military cadets, a military topic almost uncovered by film. Has some great actors, notably Tom Cruise, this being his first real performance, and Sean Pean also very early in his career. They all do great for their level of skill, and it shows, as does their ability to March and do drill in perfect form and sink. Their cause is real, but as young to be soldiers they take it way out of control and end up in a very undesirable situation. It's not something I would really expect to happen in real life, but if it did those boys would probably stay behind their decisions, looking for action, excitement and to be brave. I myself would see myself staying within the gates, even if just to say with my buddies and get a chance to feel like a soldier. It's a pretty goo movie, authentic feeling and well done. Everything looks right, feels real and makes for an overall good watch. Nothing stands out as being bad, although them holding guns to innocent people may be. The ending isn't a shootout, which is more or less what we expected, but of course the hard-ass Tom Cruise opens fire of the soldiers ending the gates until his and his friends death. Good way to end it, and is a overall good watch.
