Women in Revolt
This film is a satire of the women's liberation movement, staring a trio of female impersonators. Candy is an aloof heiress caught in an unhappy relationship with her brother. Jackie is a virginal intellectual who believes women are oppressed in contemporary American society. And Holly is a nymphomaniac who has come to loathe men, despite her attraction to them. Halfway between Thank you, mrs. Tatcher, Kusturica and Neo Realism, you gotta cheer this miracle of censorship oversight.

The remnants of an female dominated alien society plan to steal a rocket ship from visiting Earth astronauts. The aliens are played by Miss World contestants, who parade beautifully but add nothing to the plot. The acting in general is wooden, with only the original protagonist making a mark, but he is killed during a meteorite storm in the first 40 minutes. The special effects are generally poor; the rocket is represented by test flight footage (played in reverse!) while the giant spider is positively laughable. I quite like the rock creatures, however. By no means the greatest B-movie ever made!
