(au) wrote: Not a bad horror/thriller and def scores 2 stars on Bonneville's performance as Pollock but the film is very bland and drops the horror and goes into thriller territory at the worst possible time
(fr) wrote: With some of the most beautiful set pieces, art, martial arts fights, and cinematography ever put to film, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is also a deeply engrossing and spicy drama with plenty of vibrant soul and spark to light its fire
(nl) wrote: convoluted story and terrible dialogue. not even Brad Dourif or Red Six could make it much better. And why does crappy sci-fi always have to look like an even cheesier Solarbabies? Not to mention the impracticality of the 'killer robot' itself. Death machine...I wish...
(ru) wrote: I am going to review this as the seven year old I was when I saw it. Its the best movie ever! It has cowboys AND dinosaurs! Cowboys AND dinosaurs! Can we see it again, Dad?

(kr) wrote: Brilliant character study. It was supposed to be a science fiction film but ended up being more about a man's search for his father and stability in his life. The price he ended up paying was terrifying but so very human. I've had enough action, fantasy and superheroes...I love the small quiet films like this.
