This doesn't mean it could go horribly, but unfortunately it did anyway. The characters are just plain annoying and I don't call anything said in a London accent comedy, because this film really does seem to think that anything said by an old age pensioner from London is funny. There were one or two laughs at the start, but from then on in it's cheap, sleep material. I probably would have been nicer to the film if it dropped the comedy aspect all together and then just tried to be so bad it's good (not that it would have been). However, after all that wining and winging, I guess it's a decent try. There are: perfect sets for a zombie flick; perfect make-up for a zombie flick and perfect atmosphere for a zombie flick. For that final tick, all it needs is a good script, because the horrific problem that plagues this so called 'comedy' zombie flick is simple - it's not funny!

Caleb M (nl) wrote: This is the kind of movie Nicolas Cage as Charlie Kaufman wanted to write in Adaptation: a film where "nothing happens". Except here, instead of literally nothing happening, we get a glimpse into the world of those too shy, quiet, inexperienced, lazy or lonely to do anything for themselves when they need to. These characters' inaction is their action.

Andy P (es) wrote: The screenplay is as natural, witty and full of idealism as it was in the original and the beguiling chemistry the leads shared still remains, though this time the romanticism comes with a sense of poignant regret as we learn what's become of them since their chance meeting in Vienna. Enthralling, intimate and terrifically performance, Before Sunset is a perfect companion to it's predecessor in the sense that it offers just as engaging, cinematic and relatable a snapshot of life.

Timmy R (ru) wrote: I went from thinking "ugh, another over visualized techno fused early millennium british film?" in the beginning, actually starting to enjoy it after the first half hour, feeling an actual movie being sculpted by 3/4th of the way, then back to being disappointed at the end. That being said, I cannot say this film is bad nor good. I can say equal amounts for both sides. It's an overly personal film for director Norrington, but is too afraid to let itself be original. I honestly think the film takes place inside Norrington's mind. It is constantly critiquing itself, sometimes harshly, and even has the self-awareness to have a character leave a scene saying "I'm not having a nice time... this isn't my idea of nice. Annie Hall is nice. This is shit."People have said that this is Norrington's reaction/commentary on his experience with BLADE. Good for him. I just wish he would've stuck with the aspects of the film that were working instead of getting scared and retreating backwards right as it was getting interesting.

Samantha S (it) wrote: Love this movie, but there are two major flaws: 1) it's too short at barely 1 hour 40 minutes and 2) the Ravi Shankar sitar bit seems to last at least 20 minutes, taking up the lion's share of the movies. Plenty more acts could have been featured who were there. Watch carefully for Brian Jones and Mickey Dolenz.

David L (de) wrote: Dolphin Tale has charming characters, fun story, solid direction, warm tone and good cinematography. It is often too sentimental and cheesy, the plot is very predictable and formulaic, the acting is nothing to write home about and there are some sequences that are totally unnecessary and those scenes prolong what should have been a short movie, but it is a children's film that is not difficult for adults to watch thanks to caring approach, heartfelt tone and inspirational real-life story. It is nothing spectacular, but it is an enjoyable little family flick, especially for children and animal lovers.

Paul D (gb) wrote: I loved this movie. it could have gone on for an extra 2 hours and i still think that I would have been invested in the story of these people. The performances are incredible and the director was able to do amazing things within the time frame of the movie. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever listened to any music by these guys.
