It was like wefound the One Piece treasure right here, and it was this amazing film.I mean seriously while I wish it didn't have soo much action, and thatthe final fight between Z and Luffy had more to it the film still wonwith its overall heart and still outclassed One Piece: Strong World inevery regard. I fell in love with the great admiral Z and his backstory. The whole thing was quite interesting in my opinion. I did lovethe whole thing and found the film to be wonderful and magical in everywhich was possible and I wish I could have seen more of it, but sadlythe film was short and finished quite quickly, and I can't help, butwish it was longer in more ways than one. I think it is a beautiful looking film to look and had a lot of good for what it was. And I love the DVd's special features that come with it. So give One Piece film Z a chance

That may well be part of the point. While the criticism here at first seems elementary, by the end it comes across as incisive. Watch it with or instead of The White Ribbon.

I liked everyone in it, and it had some good scenes, but this was a real mess. One takeaway, however: Zach Galifianakis is really quite an actor. Maybe I'm the last to know it, but he's got real chops beyond comedy.
(mx) wrote: It's not often movies are able to handle such sensitive issues in a delicate way, with the narrative often polarizing either towards the lukewarm or the provocative. This film manages to stay poignant throughout, brimming with thematic respect and the three main characters excelling at their respective roles. There were some continuity issues detracting from the otherwise beautiful flow but if you can forgive the very few flaws, you will enjoy this unadorned fable of banding together the unlikely in a bid to cope and absolve.
(it) wrote: the opening musical number tells you everything you need to know about this movie. it's not as good as the ones before and it doesn't take itself seriously. tons of cameos and they try to capture the older movies but it falls short in a movie that is too long.
