Addie M (gb) wrote: I love Engvall in this. It's really great and I love how Cyrus plays someone you wouldn't really expect him to.

Chris C (jp) wrote: Fast-paced and action-packed, Shoot 'Em Up's humor, plausible narrative and terrific performances from Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti make for an entertaining and enjoyable action thriller.

Abhishek B (jp) wrote: Didn't get the idea and the story... but nice watch.

Kent D (jp) wrote: Ok now I can definitely say I like almost everything Mangold does.Nothing earth shattering, but very well done, pulpy and dark, just the way I like it, and great to see Stallone playing against type, and doing it so well.

Bruno V (fr) wrote: The Hunt between Ford and Bean is exciting...SOMDVD

Thomas P (es) wrote: Halle Berry. The movie wasn't based on her as a main character, but the main characters centered their life around her. Tommy Davidson played a good supporting role. This movie is about a black business man who falls in love w/ a successful around the way girl.

Jeff D (it) wrote: One of the funniest (dumb funny) movies EVER. Total meta-movie, the movie is about making the movie, and the guy did the special effects in his garage, by himself. Bad acting, and totally cheesy, but really fun!

MF J (us) wrote: Probably one of the most enigmatic, symbolic and poetic film I have ever seen, The Color of Pomegranates, belongs to the cult-classic genre, to put on a shelve next to films by other masters such as Tarkovsky or Jodorowski. The film plays like a succession of images resonating with the poems of Armenian poet Sayat Nova. The cinematography is beyond gorgeous and looks like moving paintings filled with symbolism and references to the Armenian customs, history and culture. The film gave me the impression I was watching a tarot card game being put on screen to tell a story about a country who's been invaded by the Russians and put under communism law. Parajanov was imprisoned and his film banned but today we can watch it in a brand new restored version and one will soon realize why people such as Martin Scorsese are absolute fans of such a disturbing, challenging and unusual film. It's not a classic narrative tale but rather a metaphorical and sensory experience aimed at the heart not at the brain.
