(ru) wrote: The third and final instalment in what has been a thoroughly enjoyable trilogy, that has gone somewhat under the radar due to other well known slashers stealing the limelight. It's used the simple premise of masked / hooded killer whittling down the cast members one by one until the only remaining actors are the hero and the villain themselves. This is not really any different except for the fact that a lot of the deaths revolve around supernatural causes, which to be honest, I'm not liking. The urban legends are still active in full force with the entire concept revolving around a high school sixth former who was knocked out and locked in a chest when she didn't fall for a date rape drug at the high school prom. Assumed to have died, but the legend and spirit remain very much active as the events of that night begin to repeat themselves on the children of the perpetrators. These movies have appeal because they can be far fetched, but when deaths are suddenly being caused by ghosts, it takes the ridiculous into a whole new genre, one which loses credibility when it goes against what we've come to love from the prequels. The special effects weren't great, nor was the acting, but that kind of comes hand in hand with these movies, and I did appreciate the ingenuity of creating unique gore sequences, particularly with the spiders hatching from a girls face. It's often been a real life concern of people that they eat insects when sleeping, but this just compounds that thought and takes it to a whole new fear factor. If things continued in this vain then there was potential for this film, but unfortunately everything tailed off shortly after, resulting in a daft ending that compounded the supernatural theming that this wrongly opted to take on. Still a good watch, but not surprised this one got a straight to DVD release.

(it) wrote: This is my favorite from Clint Eastwood, it shows a more softer and comedian side from the actor. Eastwood gives a top grade performance,as a bare nuckle fighter he's dared to compete the biggest competition ever but does the opposite and resist in order to keep his girlfriend at bay. At the sametime he's chased by Zany wannabe Gangsters and Lawman who've bet his life and want to see through he fights. But to his defence Eastwood has his Orangutan to lend him a hand and some side humor, dishing out comedy at its best. I love this film. A must rent then Buy!!!

(es) wrote: I have heard this movie described as Indiana Jones for girls. I would just like to say 'No Way!'. After saying that I feel better. It was not a bad movie, just a little too kid friendly with a sappy, happy ending. Gerard Butler was in it so that was all the encouragement I needed to watch it.
(ru) wrote: The movie is better than I expected it to be. The first fifteen minutes were a little difficult to understand, but once the movie moves to the year 2000 it gets hilarious. The movie was perfectly cast and every actor played their character well.
