I give West props for trying the slow burn set up and the dark hallway ending chase, but, really, there was A LOT of walking around behind actors. Which means the acting was all the back of their heads, I thought I might be watching a BJ Porno for a second or two. Actually, incredibly ineffectual and deadly boring. Nice try tho.

Kathy H (mx) wrote: I love Joan Plowright and this was a delightful movie about friendships.

Lauren D (mx) wrote: This was THE WORST movie I have ever seen. I had to shut it off a little more than halfway through because it was so stupid it gave me a headache, and I've never done that to any of the bad movies that Ive seen, and I've seen a lot. The epitome of bad movies.

Adam S (mx) wrote: A solid addition to the Dirty Harry saga, "Magnum Force" is a tight action thriller focussing on Harry Callahan as he tracks down a group of killers who are murdering people they believe society can do without - gang leaders, white-collar criminals, pimps, drug lords, etc.Like all Dirty Harry films, this movie features Clint Eastwood doing his typical gruff American routine, with a supporting cast that includes Hal Holbrook and David Soul. It's a solid enough action flick, with a fine closing act (though it doesn't even come close to living up to the ending of the previous entry, with it's "Do you feel lucky, punk?" line), but by today's action standards, it's also very talky and long-winded.7/10

Mike B (ag) wrote: Good, but could be so much funnier. Why this has never been re-made, I do not know.

Mitchell M (jp) wrote: Impeccably scripted and terrifically acted, "Michael Clayton" delivers a riveting and potent story of corporate conspiracy.
