If you want me to pick what was the worst thing in the movie, I would say the 'always on suspense never climaxes' background score. I mean, do you even need to use the 'suspense sound' when the lead character is at the vet?
Bonnie R (jp) wrote: Quite sad and pensive yet the acting raises this film to a very high level of GREAT. There's no laughter, but many tears. Silent tears. Sisto and Chenowith are both just brilliant and believable in their roles. My favorite of Sisto's many roles.
Jerry C (mx) wrote: This first part of a science fiction-trilogy, based upon a successful manga, can be described as something between Stephen King's 'It', 'Stand By Me', but has the feel of 'Watchmen'. Ingenious and fun to watch. The musical score is haunting too and reminded me of Williams' 'Jaws'score (without the dudum-dudum bit). I heared that part 2 and 3 are a bit of a letdown, but I'm excited anyway.
Nick A (jp) wrote: Non stop action in this wellmade Japanese flick. It may look like the Matrix, but that's just a follow-up of the typical manga style. If you're in dying need of solid entertainment and don't mind the language, keep this for a popcorn evening.

This is another bubble-gum, pop teen movie. It's not love; it??s merely an infatuation, puppy love. The ending is weak, even though I loved the cinematography in last scene. Average job done
Michael O (de) wrote: This is the document of a wild boar thrust into a suit of bribes and dishonor rampaging against childhood wishes and the harsh realities of life and crime. One of the top visceral performances in cinema - filmed with a careful fluidity. IT BARKS!

Eric A (jp) wrote: Always fun to see Crispin Glover. Not very scary but a certain part involving a cat forced my girlfriend to slam down her tablet and leave the room.
