Thomas L (fr) wrote: Proxy is not at all what I was expecting, and that is the best thing that it has going for it. The trailer leads you to believe that you're in for some serious psychological / supernatural horror, and that s only partially true. It's acted reasonably well throughout. I must say that Proxy contains one of the worst fake baby bumps I have ever seen, perhaps the budget didn't allow for flesh with the proper skin tone. This is actually three quarters of a good film, but the final act is too muddled and nonsensical to support the build up. If you like twists, you will find plenty of them here, but don't expect much else.

John M (fr) wrote: Steve McQueen racing vanity project. If you like racing, you will be good to go. If you want a movie, you're in trouble! There is pretty much no story, just racing. The action is done very well, and is to be commended. McQueen's usual sleep walking performance does nothing for the film.

Allan C (jp) wrote: Cheesy full-length feature film version of the 60s Batman TV series that came out between season one and two. Adam West and Burt Ward don their goofy cowls and battle all of their rogues gallery of villains, Lee Meriwether as Catwojan, Cesar Romero as The Joker, Burgess Meredith as The Penguin and Frank Gorshin as The Riddler. All the other TV show regulars appear in the film as well. The movie is really no different from the show except that there's a bit more scope with the villains in a submarine and some slightly larger set pieces, but it's still far from what I'd call a big budget film. Nelson Riddle, who did the shows music (along with the musical arrangements for a good number of Frank Sinatra's records). Overall, if you enjoyed the TV show, you might enjoy this movie, though I can't hep but feeling that the Batman TV series is better enjoyed in 30 minute segments and not a 90 minute film.

Georgian S (ru) wrote: Very difficult to write up a review on this title. Even as I write this I still can't think of what to wright. From my understanding, a son is put onto a bus to NYC as the mother cannot afford the bills, the son undergoes a change while living with his estranged family.

Jacob D (ru) wrote: Very smart smart and quirky down to earth and original. This movie had me from start to finish and yet another great performance from Paul Giovanni.

Kelly K (gb) wrote: I liked this film slightly more than the first two I have seen, but only slightly. I am getting into the more "modern" films and I have been told that those are the most impressive ones. We shall see.
